It's plastic and meets. The only catch is that you can't put a monitor to see it horizontal. The angle is too small and stays too inclined. You can make some yam and put the vertical. It seems to be more made for keyboards.

disappointed. the material is not aluminium as described. It is for holding a book or a piece of paper nothing else. don't buy it! when the height is set, it has no crooks to stay at the same position.
